Breast Lift in Seattle

Athenix

Seattle Office

636 120th Ave NE #202,
Bellevue, WA 98005

It is common for women to see that their breasts have started to droop, lose shape, and become less firm and full. This is often the natural result of pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight loss, or the loss of skin elasticity due to the passage of time. Regain that youthful, perky breast profile of confidence and self-esteem.

Custom Breast Lifts

Our Athenix offices are located in Bellevue, with fast, easy access for those living in and around Seattle. Our medical professionals are not only highly-skilled surgeons, but have an eye for beauty, and how to achieve beautiful, natural results with breast lift/mastopexy procedures. Every woman is dealing with unique physiology and body shape, and your treatment plan will be custom created so that we achieve the outcome you envision.

A Breast Lift Resolves Various Aesthetic Issues

A breast lift in Seattle, also known as a mastopexy, is the correct procedure to correct and resolve a range of breast problems, including:

  • Sagging breasts
  • Droopy breasts
  • Pendulous breasts
  • Breasts that have lost volume and appear flat or deflated
  • Breasts that have lost the firm, youthful, plump appearance
  • Downwards facing areolas and nipples with an unpleasant appearance

Your Breasts Can Become Firm and Beautiful Again

As time passes, skin elasticity and gravity take their toll. Breasts that were once high on the chest, full, and youthful in appearance are now sagging, drooping, or look deflated or flat, with nipples pointing downward, making them look unpleasant. Thankfully, modern surgical techniques allow for the restoration of that fresh, younger profile. At Athenix, we focus on body contouring and sculpting, and take great pride in the outstanding results we can create with a breast lift, either on its own, or in conjunction with a breast augmentation for even more significant results.

The breast lift procedure involves the removal of excess skin to restore the breasts to a higher position on your chest. A breast lift will not alter breast size, but is the process that resolves stretched tissue that has allowed them to droop and sag. Your surgeon will carefully take measurements and discuss the various types of lifts to see which surgical approach will best create the results you envision. The illustration below shows the various lifts and incision placements.

What to Expect from a Breast Lift

Your procedure takes a few hours to perform, with patients under general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art surgical suites located onsite. Recovery time typically lasts about a week, with most patients able to return to work and most daily activities, as long as they do not involve any strenuous actions. The first step to restoring your breasts through a breast lift is to schedule a complimentary consultation at our Seattle office to discuss what you envision, and so we can evaluate the current condition of your breasts and skin tissue, and advise you of the procedure that will bring about a more beautiful you.

Transform your Breasts for a More Youthful Appeal

Regain your youthful, perky shape, balanced and beautiful with a breast lift. Restoring your breasts can be a significant life enhancement, and allow you to wear the pieces of clothing that show them off, and feel confident in swimsuits and when wearing garments with plunging necklines.

Evaluating Your Condition is the First Step

It is important that you understand what to expect, and we educate our patients at every step of the process. Initially, we will evaluate the following:

  • The condition of your skin with regard to elasticity
  • The current location of your breasts
  • Nipple location
  • The condition of the muscle structure supporting your breasts
  • Breast volume
  • Your general health
  • Your medical history

The Surgery

Once your treatment plan is established for your individual needs, the surgery is scheduled to proceed. Your surgery is performed while you are under general anesthetic, for your own comfort. It will take one to two hours to complete. After your surgery is finished, you will recover in our facility, but can return home the same day – but you won’t be driving. Plan on getting help for transportation and at home for the first few days. You will be wearing a surgical bra that keeps your new breasts in position so they can heal properly. Your job is to rest and recuperate.

Recovery After a Breast Lift

During the early days following your breast lift in Seattle, you must be careful not to stretch, reach, bend, or pick up anything that could place stress upon your upper body and the sutures (stitches). Any pain associated with the surgery is easily handled with a prescription your breast lift surgeon will write for you. Initially, you will experience swelling and bruising, the degree of which will vary from person to person. Your entire recovery will be carefully monitored by our team, as we want you to heal as you should.

During this period, plan on resting, with very limited motion for your upper body. You can take gentle walks to keep your blood circulating, and for some exercise. Every detail of your recovery is managed with the help from our medical professionals, and we will be seeing you for post-operative evaluation and the removal of sutures within a few days of surgery. You will need to continue to wear the surgical bra for several weeks, as it will assist with healing. Most people can return to work within a week or so.
