Lip Lift

Achieve lips that are more attractive, youthful, and voluminous. Lip Lift procedures remove excess skin directly below the nose to reduce the gap between the top lip and the base of the nose. The incision is ideally positioned in the natural creases around the nose, allowing it to be disguised adequately. By reducing the distance between the nose and upper lip, more of the red area (vermillion) is exposed, resulting in fuller, younger-looking lips. In addition, a Lip Lift will roll the vermillion border, also known as the line between your lip skin and vermillion. This enhances the definition of the Cupid's bow and exposes more of your upper teeth or tooth show.

  • Attain full, plump, younger-looking lips
  • Achieve instant results
  • Regain confidence in a smile

Athenix offers 4 types of Lip Lifts:

Direct Lip Lift (Gullwing Lip Lift): This technique produces a lip border that is more clearly defined. Just above the upper lip, a small section of skin is removed, and the skin is then pushed upwards to give the appearance of a more pronounced vermillion (the pink part of the lips). Usually, this treatment produces a scar near the top lip.

Subnasal Bullhorn: One of the more popular Athenix Lip Lift techniques, where the surgeon will make an incision along the base of the nose, where it is less obvious. The center, right, and left of the lip are all dragged up toward the nose, and the incision is frequently done in the shape of a bullhorn.

Central Lip Lift: Similar to the Subnasal Bullhorn procedure, the surgeon will make an incision at the lower nose, which reduces the distance between the nose and the lips.

Corner Lip Lift (Grin Lift): This technique is an ideal choice for those who believe their lips are turned down. Two tiny incisions are made at the corners of the mouth, and a small amount of skin is scraped away. Some people will undergo this with another lip lift for bigger lips.

To our valued patients,

I hope that you and your families have stayed healthy and well during this difficult time. We want to thank all of the essential workers that provided us with critical services during this period and also to all of you that remained at home preventing the further spread of the virus.

As we re-open our facilities our priority remains the safety and well being of our patients and staff. To that end, we have implemented a number of important safety measures at all of our facilities.

  2. Only those individuals that pass the screening will be allowed into the facility.
  3. Patients can only bring 1 other person with them to the appointment.
  4. All patients (and caregivers) need to wear a mask while in the facility. Please bring a cloth or other mask with you to the appointment.
  5. Physical distancing will be in effect in the office waiting room and throughout the office.
  6. Once the physical distance capacity has been reached in the waiting room, patients will be asked to wait in their vehicles and will be called to come in at their appointment time.
  7. All surfaces in the office will be cleaned and disinfected at least on an hourly basis.
  8. All patient rooms will be cleaned and disinfected after each patient use.
