Dermal Fillers

Without adequate facial volume, facial features become drawn and sunken – making you look much older than you’d like. Athenix offers 8 of the most highly-researched, FDA-approved dermal fillers available for targeting wrinkles and enhancing your features to meet your beauty goals.

  • Correct age-related loss of volume
  • Achieve effortless rejuvenation
  • Redefine facial symmetry without surgery

Juvéderm® Injectable Gel: Juvéderm® is an FDA approved smooth gel facial filler which helps rid the appearance of facial lines around the lips and mouth. Over time skin loses its vibrancy and structure due to age and other environmental factors. Juvéderm will restore that supple skin and fill out the folds and creases with results lasting up to one year.

Juvéderm® Voluma™: A NEW longer lasting injectable for volumization intended for a wide range of clients looking to achieve mid-face volume, or more prominent, sculpted cheek bones. Voluma™ consists of hyaluronic acid which is a substance found naturally within the skin. Voluma™ is injected deep beneath the skin, to offer greater support and structure to the overlying skin. Administering the injections typically take about 15-30 minutes. Once complete, Voluma™ results can be seen immediately. Unlike surgical options, Voluma™ has no downtime, which means patients are free to resume their normal life the moment they walk out of the office.

Juvéderm® Volux™: Juvéderm® Volux™ is the first hyaluronic acid-based injectable filler approved by the FDA that specifically targets the jawline.

Prevelle®: Prevelle® is a biocompatible dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally produced by the body and adds volume to the skin. By receiving Prevelle®, Athenix patients can experience these benefits, which last about 3 to 4 months.

Radiesse®: Radiesse® is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases, and scars by augmenting the body's natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse® is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction (unlike collagen) - just one of its advantages over alternative treatments. Radiesse® can be used on many areas of the body; the most commonly treated are nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures. Radiesse® treatments are performed in office and take only about 15 minutes. Local anesthetic is applied to the targeted areas prior to treating. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months or years, although the procedure can be repeated as often as you wish.

Restylane®: Restylane® is a clear, synthetic gel made with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. No allergy pre-test is needed and the entire procedure takes less than 30 minutes. The most common areas for treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane® remains in your skin for many months. Designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours, Restyline® can eliminate lines crossing the lip border, producing a more youthful, voluptuous appearance.

RHA Collection: RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) represents the latest advancement in hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. It is the first — and only — FDA-approved HA filler for dynamic wrinkles. Unlike ordinary dermal fillers, RHA achieves a unique smoothing effect thanks to an innovative cross-linking method that helps the gel more closely match the natural HA found in human skin. It adapts to your facial movements for a more natural appearance, both when the face is at rest and while composing facial expressions. RHA moves with the skin for an age-defying result and ultra-smooth finish that looks more natural than comparable HA fillers. Results can last up to 15 months, giving patients more time to enjoy life with a youthful face.

Sculptra®: Sculptra® is an injectable used for the restoration of collagen and the correction of volume loss. The benefits of Sculptra® are not immediately apparent; the body slowly responds to the injection by building up collagen around the area, producing fuller, younger looking skin. Athenix patients can expect treatments to take between 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on the size of the areas being treated. Improvements appear gradually as collagen production increases, which can take approximately 6 weeks. Optimal Sculptra® results usually require at least 3 to 6 treatments, each spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart.

To our valued patients,

I hope that you and your families have stayed healthy and well during this difficult time. We want to thank all of the essential workers that provided us with critical services during this period and also to all of you that remained at home preventing the further spread of the virus.

As we re-open our facilities our priority remains the safety and well being of our patients and staff. To that end, we have implemented a number of important safety measures at all of our facilities.

  2. Only those individuals that pass the screening will be allowed into the facility.
  3. Patients can only bring 1 other person with them to the appointment.
  4. All patients (and caregivers) need to wear a mask while in the facility. Please bring a cloth or other mask with you to the appointment.
  5. Physical distancing will be in effect in the office waiting room and throughout the office.
  6. Once the physical distance capacity has been reached in the waiting room, patients will be asked to wait in their vehicles and will be called to come in at their appointment time.
  7. All surfaces in the office will be cleaned and disinfected at least on an hourly basis.
  8. All patient rooms will be cleaned and disinfected after each patient use.
  9. Caregivers waiting for patients after surgery will be asked to not wait in the facility.
