Athenix offers 3 types of Eyelid Enhancements:
Upper Blepharoplasty: Decrease loose skin over the eye. Through this procedure, excess skin and tissue are removed through small incisions, restoring eyelid function.
Lower Blepharoplasty: Through this procedure, there are several different approaches to your surgery that can be performed.
- Transconjunctival Lower Lid Blepharoplasty: This technique is often chosen when no skin needs to be taken off. An incision is made on the inside of the lower eyelid, so there is no scar or other sign of the surgery.
- Transcutaneous Lower Lid Blepharoplasty: A subciliary incision, also called a "pinching" technique, is used to remove fat and skin that sticks out from under the eyelid.
- Tranconjunctival Arcus Marginalis Release: This technique moves the fat inside the lid to keep some volume in the soft tissue. It stops the ridge of the orbital bone from sticking out too much, which makes the eyes look hollow and the face looks older.
Double Eyelid Surgery: This procedure creates double eyelids by forming a crease in the top of the eyelids that helps in improving various issues including droopy eyelids or eye bags, or overall disatisfaction with the shape and function of the eyelids.
