It is important that you are in good general health and can safely undergo surgery. How Much Does a Mommy Makeover Cost?
As each mommy makeover is customized to treat all of the body areas of the individual damaged by pregnancy, the cost will vary. We do offer some affordable payment options, so you can take advantage of the procedure as soon as you can. Our friendly, supportive administrative staff will guide you through the process. How Long Will It Take For Me To Recover From a Mommy Makeover?
It is advised that you plan three to four weeks off to recover following your mommy makeover, particularly if you are undergoing several procedures. The body requires time to heal, but it varies person to person. Some women may feel well enough to return to work or other activities within ten days or two weeks, while others require longer. Your healing time (which is individual), along with the number of procedures you had, will affect the length of time you need to recover following your mommy makeover. The results are well worth the short wait – you will once again have a body that you are proud to show off!

Can I have a Mommy Makeover Without Surgery?
At Athenix, our board-certified plastic surgeons we offer a full range of treatments, from surgical to non-surgical for your mommy makeover. If a non-surgical treatment will achieve your goals, we will be glad to inform you. Skin tightening, skin firming, and body sculpting treatments are all available at our clinic. For some women, surgery is the only way to achieve the breast and body restoration envisioned. What Happens on the Day of Surgery?
You will be scheduled for surgery at clinic, and arrive in the early morning, free from makeup or other products, wearing loose, comfortable clothing, with a front opening on your top. Most mommy makeovers are performed with general anesthesia, for your own comfort, and because several procedures will be performed. After surgery, you will awaken from anesthesia, but will be groggy. Once you feel well enough, you can return home, driven by a friend or family member. Ensure you have filled your prescriptions before your appointment – you will want to return home to sleep and recover.
Can I Have More Children After a Mommy Makeover?
You could, but it is advised that you do not undergo this procedure until you are done having children. Your body could once again suffer damage if you have children after you have completed a mommy makeover, requiring another surgery, so we advise waiting.
How Long Before I can Engage in Sex After a Mommy Makeover?
Following your mommy makeover, you will be restricted from any vigorous activity for two weeks at least, including sexual activity. As the procedure often includes an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), your incisions need time to heal and settle. You will need to be gentle on your body for at least a month or longer.
